BRC Celebrates First Birthday
Saturday, 10th of July saw our first birthday milestone, and together with Bmag and hundreds of Brisbane families we celebrated big!
Our first anniversary saw free rides and birthday cupcake decorating for the kids, quality racing with the running of the Queensland Cup, as well as some fabulous fashions and headwear around the track.
Bmag’s Best Hat Competition judged by top milliner Alexandra Harper, and there was some contention for the top prize. Taken out by Tara Brock of Everton Park (pictured right), Ms Brock received a $500 headpiece designed by Alexandra Harper.
Queensland’s only listed 3200m race, the Queensland Cup brought some quality staying power to the Eagle Farm track, eventually taken by Solid Billing.
At the track, in Queensland’s beautiful mild winter, with plenty of action for both racegoers and their children, the Brisbane Racing Club showed what makes for a great day out at the races. The BRC is ready to jump for another event packed year, so make sure you come along to check it out.
