Brisbane’s Annual Exhibition Wednesday Races is Back!
It's hard to believe it's that time of year again - the Exhibition Wednesday Races juggernaut is gearing up for another huge year.
With a cult following from eager uni students and Gen Ys, the event on Wednesday August 11 promises to attract tens of thousands of fans this year with some huge acts, massive prize draws and the sensation of partying trackside.
One of the main attractions, the Bundaberg Red Rum stage will practically be on fire with some imposing party heavyweights, doing what they do best. International Sydney act Olsen VS LC, is fresh from wowing the masses at the MTV Music Video Awards in LA, with their unique Drummer Vs Dj remixes. Plus on board are festival favourites Van She Tech and Hey Now Dj's, both fresh after some huge sets at Splendour in the Grass. The Arcade Creative's Party Stage will be hosting some international flavour for the day with The Mightyfools, direct from Holland.
For punters, there will be improved odds with the chance to win an overseas holiday for four to Phuket, Thailand thanks to the team at Student Flights. To win, Exhibition Wednesday racegoers will simply need to drop their losing betting ticket into the competition entry barrel. Back a favourite and racegoers could win hundreds, lose and they could still be a winner- jetsetting to Thailand for a week!
The eight races on the track will not only provide eight winners of the four-legged variety but eight winners of brand new iPads as well!! To enter this phenomenal giveaway, racegoers will simply need to watch each of the eight races, find the Nova boy jockey on one of the runners in the race and SMS the details.
Tickets are currently available online for $26.50 through Ticketek (plus booking fee) to experience the full-throttle annual Exhibition Wednesday Races.
For anyone after all you can eat, sideshow amusements and exclusive Nova entertainment should grab a ticket to the Nova Lawn Party for $63.
There's also a Member For A Day ticket priced at $103 available too.
