LISA NEWMAN TO LAUNCH NEW WEEKLY FRESH FOOD MARKET
Inner Brisbane residents will experience a new fresh food market to buy the freshest produce from across South East Queensland at the new weekly Eagle Farm Markets in the heart of Brisbane's Racing precinct at Eagle Farm Racecourse.
The thriving, bustling market located only 8km from Brisbane's CBD will offer a diverse mix of traders each Sunday between 8am and 2pm.
With 100 stalls, Eagle Farm Markets will boast seasonal fresh fruit and vegetable produce as well as a selection of seafood, meats and poultry. Other stalls will offer freshly cut flowers, plants, arts and crafts, clothing, accessories, home decore, sweets, baked goods and gourmet and deli items.
Lisa Newman will be a special guest at this weekend's launch, officially opening Eagle Farm Markets to the public.
After the launch ceremony Lisa Newman will be available for photo opportunities.
Entry to the markets is $2 and there is plenty of free onsite parking. Families will also enjoy the kids' activities.
Eagle Farm Markets is run in conjunction with the long established Brisbane Markets, based at Rocklea.
