Stewards update on Fritzy Boy and Dariana
Queensland Racing Limited (QRL) stewards have been advised this morning that Fritzy Boy will not be an acceptor for Saturday’s Group 1 AAMI Stradbroke Handicap.
Trainer Mr Albert MacGregor advised stewards the horse had sustained an injury and a veterinary certificate would be provided.
Following Dariana’s failure to jump with the field in the Queensland Oaks last Saturday, the filly passed a barrier test at the Eagle Farm jumpouts this morning and the horse has now been cleared to take its place in the Group 1 Queensland Derby.
