The Aquis Racehorse Retraining Triequithon is a day full of unique equestrian entertainment.
A chance to dress up, socialise and watch retired racehorses compete in the Olympic sport of Eventing. This event will be a great day out and is presented in a spectator friendly format. Tickets are available in the Marquee or General Admission. See below to book.
The Racing Queensland Dressage phase is a chance to watch retrained racehorses demonstrate how graceful they can be. Often referred to as dancing with a horse, the dressage phase will run between race 1 and race 3.
The Ray White Cross Country phase will showcase trusted horses galloping over solid jumps that are over 1.1m high and wide! It’s all about athleticism and the relationship between riders and their horses. The thoroughbred is a natural athlete and has a willing attitude to please – making the retired racehorse the perfect teammate for Eventing. The cross country phase is on between races 3 and 5.
The Linda Huddy/Gollan Racing show jumping phase has obstacles that are more like matchsticks when compared to the cross country obstacles. This is the phase where attention to detail and getting every moment just right after the physical efforts of the first two phases is the key to success. It is also the phase that often decides the winner. The show jumping is on between races 6 and 8.
*Please note – some public areas may be booked for private functions
