Tattersall’s Racing Club’s premier race day, the Tattersall’s Tiara is set to be held on Saturday, 23 June, as part of the 2018 Winter Racing Carnival.

This year will be the 153rd anniversary of the first Tattersall’s Cup, which was run on August 16, 1865.

The Group 1 Sky Racing Tattersall’s Tiara Race is sure to provide edge of your seat viewing. The Group 3 Lazy Yak and the Group 3 WJ Healy Stakes will also be held on the day, providing an abundance of opportunities for eager punters to place a bet.

Winter Racing Fashion will be at its peak, as the Wintergarden Fashions on the Field returns once again with exciting prizes including a trip to Singapore for the Winning Female and Male entrants.

Tattersall’s Racing Club will be supporting Legacy on the day and will have a Family area with FREE Rides and Entertainment.  Children 17 years and younger will receive free entry into the racecourse.

Gates open on the day at 10:30am. General admission can be bought online for $20 or at the gate for $25, with children under 17 years and pensioners free. Members’ Reserve tickets can also be purchased online for $40 per person, or $50 at the gate.

MEMBERS’ RESERVE & CORPORATE AREAS DRESS CODE

MEN: Long-sleeved collared business shirt tucked in with a tie or a tailored suit jacket or blazer with tailored fashion trousers and covered dress shoes*.

WOMEN: Neat dress standard in keeping with contemporary standards. No bare midriffs.*.

* Denim, joggers, thongs and shorts are not permitted in Members’ Reserve areas.
* Members and their Guests and Owners may be denied entry by BRC staff if the above regulations are not adhered to.
* Shoes are to be worn at all times around the venue.
* BRC Management reserves the right to exercise discretion in respect to dress regulations.

Train

For Doomben racecourse, catch the train by taking the Doomben line from any CBD railway station or change services at Eagle Junction for the Doomben line.

Doomben railway station is located a five-minute walk to the racecourse.

Bus

Catch route 301 from Adelaide Street, City to Doomben Racecourse.

Taxi

Taxis are available from  Doomben Racecourse at the conclusion of each event.


PARKING

Brisbane Racing Club Members

All BRC Member car parking is free.

Doomben: Brisbane Racing Club Member car parking is available via Gate 5 (Hampden Street) Doomben Racecourse. Alternatively parking is also available on the infield for Members via Gate 2 (Nudgee Road). Disabled parking is located within the Gate 5 car park (vehicles must display a valid accessible parking permit).

General Public

All car parking is free.

Doomben: Public car parking is available via Gate 2 on Nudgee Road at Doomben Racecourse. Disabled parking is located within the Gate 5 car park (vehicles must display a valid accessible parking permit).
