Fashions On The Field

 

Brisbane Racing Club’s Fashions On The Field competitions celebrate the age-old tradition of trackside style and celebrate modern trends, exuberant millinery and head-to-toe style and grooming.

Contestants enter from across Australia and the competitions attract media attention and celebrity judges. There are categories for Women and Men, as well as a special categories on select days.

Each day has a special theme and contestants are judged on their interpretation of the theme and seasonal racing standards.

During Stradbroke Season presented by TAB (May - June) the emphasis is on Winter styles, while the Brisbane Spring Racing Carnival (October - November) embraces the warmer Queensland weather. 

Other feature events throughout the year have unique themes, such as Country Music Raceday's country theme, and Teddy Bear’s Picnic fuzzy friends and family friendly competition.
