Relaxed Racing

Celebrate summer trackside during the Relaxed Racing period - 1 January - 10 February

Long summer days and warm summer nights are what Brisbanites live for. Chill out, slow down and kick back trackside.

The Brisbane Racing Club’s Relaxed Racing is all about enjoying the summer sun with friends and an icy cold beverage in hand. Good times all round!

Have a punt and cheer on your favourite. Stake your claim to a soft patch of turf on the lawn and tuck into a delicious lunch and a chilled glass of Champagne. You’ll be onto a winner with the fresh summer menu on offer... What more could you ask for?

Kick off those stilettos ladies, and slip into something more relaxed like flats or wedges. It’s all about the maxi dresses, playsuits and boater style hats. No need for fascinators!

Stiff suits need not apply for Relaxed Racing. The fellas can get comfy in chino shorts and a cotton shirt, the perfect outfit for busting a move after the last race!

Open Bars and Dress Code

During the Relaxed Racing period there will be changes to the bars that are open to both the Members and Public on Saturday race meetings. Dress codes will also be relaxed during this time. Please see below for further details.
