The annual Bundaberg Five Exhibition Wednesday Races is back in 2012! With Rockin Artists and Sizzling Races - it's THE biggest party of the year!
Please Note: Bundaberg Five Exhibition Wednesday Races is an + 18 event.
The entertainment lineup will feat:
- Tenzin, Ruby Rose & Bombs Away on the Bundaberg Five Main Stage
- Silent Disco featuring two DJ channels
- The Den by Stereosonic
- An awesome half pipe show with BMX and skateboarders performing mid-air stunts on a half pipe ramp
- The Nova Exhibitionists stage, and
- Find the Nova Jockey promo - All you've gotta do is look out for the one Nova Jockey planted in each of the eight races on the day. Text the horse number and your name to go into the draw to win tickets to Stereosonic!

Exhibition Wednesday - 15 August Road Closures
- Lancaster Road closed between Charlton and Vine Street
- Racecourse Road closed between Lancaster Road and Beatrice Terrace
- McGill Avenue closed
- The road closures will be between 2pm and 7pm on the 15th
Laura Stead Fashion tips for Exhibition Wednesday Races
Ekka Wednesday is a younger crowd than most race days so the dress code is a bit more fun. That doesn't mean you shouldn't take the chance to dress stylishly though - race wear should always be conservative, day appropriate (no cocktail dresses or micro-minis) and seasonally comfortable (in August this means wear a sleeve or at least bring something warm girls). Think Kate Middleton rather than Katie Price.- Matchy-matchy accessories are spot on for a race day. Match your bag and shoes and colour-coordinate your fascinator to look perfectly put together.
- Keep accessories fuss free. You don't need to be worrying about shoes that are killing you so opt for a wedge instead of stiletto heel. A small box clutch is all you need for the essentials as well so leave the big bags at home.
- Boys, make the right impression in a classic dark suit. Geek chic is a big spring.summer trend for men so if you want to take it a step further wear a bow tie, maybe even some fake specs.
- Need a point in the right direction? Try Ojay, Portmans, Forever New and Dotti for dresses and Betts, Zoo, Sportsgirl and Wittner for accessories. New season trends to look out for are florals, pastels and ladylike looks.
