The Doomben 10,000 is an annual Group One race that has been running since 1933 attracting some of Australia’s most talented sprinters. Positioned on the top floor of the Members’ Grandstand and positioned directly above the Mounting Enclosure and finish post there is no better raceday position.

This beautifully appointed room is available to members’ only on Saturday race meetings with access to tote and bar facilities and available for hire in conjunction with midweek race meeting sponsorship and at all other times of the year for private functions.

A unique venue with floor to ceiling glass panels provides a splendid view ideal for your Wedding Reception or corporate events.

Recently renovated the Apache Cat Café is a popular dining venue, situated on level one of Doomben’s members building and only moments away from all the action and excitement of the grandstand.

The Ascot Bar offers one of the best views of the racecourse.

Located on the top floor of the John Power Stand – Members’ Reserve – the Ascot Bar is ideal for raceday events.

Named after a true Doomben Champion, Chief De Beers was a dual Doomben 10,000 Winner in 1995 &1998 and is now the namesake of a beautifully appointed room located on the second floor of the public grandstand.

The floor to ceiling glass panels overlooking the track & the winning post provide an all encompassing view of the picturesque Doomben Racecourse. Chief De Beers is suitable for weddings, cocktail and corporate functions

The clean, textured stainless steel is complimented by natural wood paneling and accents of white.The Hall of Fame Bar is particularly popular for weddings, birthday parties, conferences and trade shows.

Suitable for larger groups the Hometurn is appropriately named given its view of the place where the race is won or lost.

If you’re after spectacular views of the racetrack, then look no further than the Moreton & Stradbroke Bars, situated high on the top floor of the Paddock Grandstand.This split level venue features two separate bar facilities and huge glass windows offering an unsurpassed outlook of Eagle Farm’s racetrack.

Best suited to cocktail events, the Moreton & Stradbroke Bars are a popular venue choice on racedays.

The Oaks Bar is a suave, sophisticated lounge bar featuring rich, dark hues exuding an air of intrigue. The facet of wood paneling features heavily, offset by deep indigo and beige tones. Minimalist design characteristics are prevalent through low, square furnishings and are testament to the uber cool, trendy feel of this bar. The Oaks Bar screams lazy indulgence and thus is most suited to cocktail style events. The venue can however accommodate small meetings or intimate dining.

Past the Post Is situated adjacent to the raceday horse stalls and Mounting Enclosure, making it an ideal location on racedays.

Just shy of the Winning Post, this position provides a prime view of horses thundering down the straight. Exquisitely manicured fig trees extend over Past the Post Lawn. This space is ideal for corporate entertaining on raceday or wedding ceremonies.

A fabulous location for conferences and events requiring black out capability, the Satchel can be divided into two rooms to provide you with a conference room and adjacent break out space for lunch, morning tea and coffee breaks or step out into the grandstand and take in the views of the racecourse in your breaks.

With ample free parking the Satchel at Doomben Racecourse is an ideal conference and event destination.

Hear the rumble of the horses’ hooves as they gallop past you from this ideal trackside location situated to the right of the main grandstand on the home straight.

Design your own marquee to cater for 50 people or 5000, choose from our extensive menus and create a function specifically for your needs. The entertainment is taken care of with approx eight (8) races per raceday to follow, all you have to do is bring the party.

Located in the John Power Stand – Members’ Reserve – the Guineas Room is an immensely diverse venue with the capacity to host cocktail parties for up to 500 guests, banquets, trade shows or theatre style conferences.

Nestled within Eagle Farm’s oldest grandstand lies a hidden treasure. Built in 1889, The Laboratory, as the name indicates, was formerly used for the scientific testing of racehorses.

The Laboratory, in its’ contemporary form, boasts ornate furnishings, polished wooden flooring and a stunning deck providing magnificent views of the racetrack.Ideal for cocktail style events, The Laboratory is also suited to small classroom or boardroom style meetings.

The St Leger offers unique versatility. The open space and high ceiling creates a distinct warehouse feel, as do the industrial design treatments including polished concrete flooring, exposed brickwork, roller doors and steel columns. These modern aspects are complimented by the sheer architectural grandeur of the late 19th century.

Four large arched doorways lead to a picturesque outdoor setting, extending the St Leger beyond the indoors. Draping fig trees and manicured lawns offset the beauty of this heritage structure. Federation-style brick turnstiles and a large wrought iron gate create a magnificent entrance to the venue.The St Leger is Eagle Farm’s second oldest grandstand. Built in 1913, with an extension later added in 1938, the St Leger’s namesake is a horse race run annually in Doncaster, England. The race was named after its’ founder, Colonel Barry St Leger in 1776.

Built in 1913, The Tote offers a banquet hall complete with 18 foot ceilings, natural worn brick walls and polished timber floors.The Tote’s most unique features are the original tote windows, once used by punters placing their bets. Racing memorabilia adorns the walls, adding to the unique character of this venue.

The Tote building was once pivotal to the life of the racecourse as it housed the mechanical racecourse totalisator. The machine, used to calculate dividends payable to punters, is still situated on the second floor and is a stunning, incomparable talking point.The sheer space of this room lends to both cocktail style and seated events.

The Vice Regal is a charming room featuring a rich and elegant décor. Once upon a time, it was devoted to ladies’ “High Tea” however The Vice Regal has now become one of the most sought after venues at Eagle Farm.Situated within the John Power Stand -Members’ Reserve - the adjacent reserved grandstand seating provides a birds eye view of the Parade Ring and Winning Post on raceday. Perfect for intimate dining events, The Vice Regal is also versatile enough to host cocktail parties, meetings, conferences and networking breakfasts.

A popular venue for tradeshows or conferences, Vo Rogue is situation on the second level of the public grandstand.  A functional space featuring plenty of natural light and direct access to public grandstand seating, it can be set for up to 300 cocktail style.

Whips’n’Spurs is the perfect meeting point for Doomben’s social set with bar, tote, bookmakers, bathroom facilities and live music just metres away.  Located on the ground level at the Eastern end of the public grandstand, Whips’n’Spurs is easily accessible and next to all the excitement of the front lawn.

A fabulous location for conferences and events requiring black out capability, the Winners Circle can seat up to 200 people for a banquet style function, step out into the grandstand and take in the views of the racecourse in your breaks. With ample free parking the Winners Circle at Doomben Racecourse is an ideal conference and event destination.

Just meters from the Winning Post this venue is as close as it gets to all the mounting yard action.  Marquees can be set for up to 150 patrons cocktail style with tote and wide screen televisions available and convenient access to members facilities.   A prestigious venue for your next corporate raceday function.
