Barrier trials are held at both Doomben and Eagle Farm on a regular basis.

Nominations

Nominations are $50.00 (plus GST) All nominations should be lodged via Trainers Service Centre in Melbourne.  Please Note 2YO’s shall not compete unless a stable return has been lodged with Trainers Service Centre no later than 48 hours prior to the closing date of nominations.

Scratchings

Trainers are required to advise the Trainers Service Centre of scratchings prior to 7.30am on trial mornings, either on-line or via the 1800 number.

Trial Footage

Racing fans can now catch all the latest Queensland Barrier Trials on the Sky Racing Media Centre at www.skyracing.tv

Encompassing all the trials from Doomben, Eagle Farm, Deagon, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast, these Barrier Trials are available for viewing from 4pm on the afternoon that the Trials are conducted.

Subscription to the Sky Racing Media Centre can be purchased for $5 per day, $20 per month or $150 per year to access the Queensland Barrier Trials plus many more of Sky's popular magazine programmes, including Off the Rails, GG Girls, Form Line and daily form preview show Inside Running.

As well as being available for viewing on the Sky Racing Media Centre, all Queensland Barrier Trials are also screened on Sky Racing1 and Sky Racing2 under the title of "Total Trials Queensland."

"Total Trials Queensland" will be screened on either Sky Racing1 or Sky Racing2 (or both) within 48 hours of the Trials being held. For example, if the Trials are conducted on a Monday, they will commence being screened on the Wednesday night. Please check your local Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) for screening times.

Barrier Trial DVD's

As of July 1, 2011 Sky Racing will produce Barrier Trial DVD for owners and trainers at Eagle Farm and Doomben Racecourses. A single Barrier Trial DVD is $45 or a full Barrier Trial meeting is $70, both of which include postage and handling.

Alternatively, the Sky Racing Media Centre subscription service will display Barrier Trials on their website within 24 hours of the trials being run. The Sky Racing Media Centre will also house race replays from selected venues, including all race meetings in Queensland.
