Stabling info

BRC Trainers at Eagle Farm and Doomben are able to utilise the most diverse training options in Australia.

BRC trainers are able to work their horses at either Doomben or Eagle Farm as they wish. Facilities include:

Eagle Farm

  • Course Proper (occasional)
  • “A” Grass
  • “American” Dirt Track
  • Sand track
  • “B” Grass
  • Bullring
  • Swimming Pool

Doomben

  • Course proper (occasional)
  • “A” Grass
  • Cinders
  • “B” Grass
  • Bullring

The daily training fee includes:

  • Full use of Eagle Farm and Doomben
  • All tracks including grass plus occasional use of course proper
  • Swimming Pool
  • Grass jump outs once each fortnight
  • Barrier trials once each other fortnight
  • Dirt jump outs every Thursday
  • Open 7 days per week (Limited tracks on Sundays/PH)

On-course stabling

  • On-course stabling is provided at Eagle Farm for 200 horses
  • The complex has seven ten-horse walking machines
