Doomben Cup Day

There’s endless fun to be had at the Carnival's special family event. The Family Zone will have a range of activities the kids can enjoy and all of the rides and activities are free.

Westfield Chermside will present a Family Category Fashions on the Field too with the best dressed and coordinated family of four awarded a selection of fabulous prizes including shopping vouchers and Australian Outback Spectacular passes.

Families can also enjoy an interactive equine entertainment show featuring a stock horse displays and a performance by a liberty trained horse including tricks.

Doomben Cup Day is one of the biggest day’s of the Brisbane Racing Carnival with seven of the eight races run at Group level and attracting the nation’s top turf stars.

The day’s highlight is the Group 1 Kirks Doomben Cup run over the staying distance of 2020 metres. The day also features the Group 2 Bollinger Champagne Classic plus four other Group 3 races.

Family Zone Marquee

The Family Zone Marquee is situated adjacent to the racing action and free family rides and attractions on Doomben Cup Day. The perfect base for families, this marquee packages convenience and value for money ensuring you have everything you need to enjoy your family day out at the Channel Seven Brisbane Racing Carnival.

The 10,000 Restaurant is situated on the top level of the Members' Grandstand at Doomben and boasts breathtaking panoramic views of the racecourse, including a prime view of the Winning Post. Guests can also conveniently access the Members' Grandstand from this restuarant.

Terraces Dining

With superb views over Doomben Racecourse, the East and West Terraces offer an outstanding raceday dining experience.
