Public Transport

Trains

There are two main stations that provide easy access to both racecourses. From any railway station in the CBD take the Doomben line.

Ascot Railway station is situated beside Eagle Farm Racecourse and provides direct access off the platform into the racecourse.

Doomben Railway station is located a five minute stroll to Doomben Racecourse. 

Buses

Three bus routes provide access to Eagle Farm Racecourse. Routes 300, 301 and 305 travel from Adelaide Street to Ascot.

The 301 also travels to Hampden Street for access to Doomben Racecourse.

Taxis

Taxis are available from either racecourse at the conclusion of an event.

Car Parking

Car parking is available at both racecourses on event days. Parking is free. Street parking is very limited.

For Doomben Racecourse, enter off Nudgee Road to access the carpark inside the racetrack. Alternatively, parking is available across the road at Eagle Farm Racecourse which is also accessible off Nudgee Road. Disabled parking is accessible via Hampden Street, through the Gate 5 entrance. Vehicles must display a valid accessible parking permit.

For Eagle Farm Racecourse, enter the carpark via either Nudgee Road or Lancaster Road. Disabled parking is accessible off Lancaster Road, via McGill Avenue. Vehicles must display a valid accessible parking permit.

Doomben Racecourse is located on Hampden Street, Ascot and is approximately 7.2 kilometres or 10 minutes from Brisbane City and 5.5 kilometres or 5 minutes from Brisbane Airport.

Eagle Farm Racecourse is located on picturesque Lancaster Road in Ascot.  The racecourse is located 8 kilometres from Brisbane's CBD and a mere 6 kilometres from Brisbane Airport.
