Brisbane Racing Behind the Scenes Tour - $100

 The Brisbane Racing Behind the Scenes Tour is a 2 hour guided tour that offers participants the opportunity to witness a bounty of rare and close-up experiences. This is the perfect opportunity to surprise someone with one of Brisbane's most unique Christmas gifts!
Whether a horse racing lover looking to learn more about the industry or a relative newcomer to the sport, this gift experience will be delighted by many.
Your experience will start with morning tea at the racecourse. Enjoy scones with jam & cream and tea & coffee before you embark on this unique tour.
The tour then commences with a sneak peak in the jockey’s locker rooms. Hear from a jockey as he gives a brief insight into his extreme athleticism.
Next stop, is a trip to the start of a race. Witness how the horses are loaded into the barrier stalls and hear the crash of the barriers as they fly open for the race start.
Back in the mounting enclosure you’ll be introduced to the world of racehorse training by one of Queensland’s leading trainers.

Tours run on Saturdays between 11:30am and 1:30pm, except special event days (including, but not limited to Brisbane Racing Carnival, Tattersall’s Racedays, Exhibition Wednesday & Melbourne Cup Day).
Guidelines: Participant rescheduling notice is required; more than 24 hours prior = $5 fee, Within 24 hours = $20 fee. Participants need to be able to understand and follow directions and have good mobility.
