BRC Foundation

Brisbane Racing Club is committed to supporting the communities that we live and thrive in. By putting the community at the heart of what we do, our aim is to be 'more than just a Club'.

In November 2018, the BRC Foundation was established as a formal initiative to ensure that we continue to make a positive lasting difference. The Foundation supports our local community on Race days with Family Day, Teddy Bears Picnic and Christmas Carols throughout the year.
Brisbane Racing Club is proud of our enduring partnership with a range of charities and will continue to assist in raising vital funds for those in need.

Brisbane Racing Club along with Gallopers Sports Club and Souths Sports Club has contributed over $584,000 in 2022/2023 in-kind donations to charities, schools, regional race clubs, local sporting groups.

In 2022, the BRC formalised a partnership with 50-50 Charity Raffle and work closely together to allocate charity partners to the larger race days during Stradbroke Season and Spring Carnival. 15 Raffles were held over the 2022/23 Financial year raising over $78 500 for these chosen charities.

The BRC Foundation meet regularly to govern the processes, activities and relationships of Brisbane Racing club's charitable contributions to ensure that we are fair and operate effectively.

CHARITY PARTNER FEEDBACK

"I just wanted to send you both a big THANK YOU for all of your help and partnership for this years Spring Carnival Starlight Fundraising! As always, Tracey, Erin, Jerome and I had a blast, alongside the 50:50 foundation, being involved again in this year’s Spring Carnival and having the honour of being BRC’s charity of choice once again in 2018.

Really special moments for us across all 4 of the days, especially the winning 50:50 ticket from Cox Plate day going to one of our very own Starlight Families! I sold the winning ticket to mum who owns a racehorse and was explaining to me that they have recently been given the news that their teenage daughter has been diagnosed with leukaemia so they knew Starlight well. You and everyone involved have had such a big impact for sick children and their families in hospital, donating over $17,000 which will allow over 430 children to have access to the Starlight Express Room and our amazing Captain Starlight program. Just amazing!

Thanks again ladies for the opportunity and we look forward to working with you both again in the future😊"
