The Brisbane Racing Club is Queensland's largest thoroughbred racing club with two racecourses in the Brisbane metropolitan area, Eagle Farm and Doomben.
Each year the Club conducts approximately 96 race meetings in addition to hosting some of Brisbane's most prestigious functions and special events.
Managing two large venues, the Brisbane Racing Club employs more than 1000 casual and full-time staff across a variety of skillsets.
Due to the nature of the thoroughbred racing industry, casual employment at the Brisbane Racing Club is seasonal. The busiest periods are generally May, June, August and November. Both Eagle Farm and Doomben Racecourses are open seven days a week for non-racing functions and events. Opportunities for day and evening work is available.
