BRC Ascot childcare centre opens its doors

Ascot Childcare & Kindy, the new childcare centre that forms part of Brisbane Racing Club’s Masterplan for the Eagle Farm Racecourse precinct, opened on 1 March 2017. Located on Lancaster Road, the centre offers 110 places for children from nursery through to school age. Places at this modern, well-equipped facility are open to all.

Brisbane Racing Club Chairman Neville Bell said it was exciting to see the centre, constructed under contract and owned by the club, completed and welcoming families. “The centre is just one of our precinct commercial projects, building non-racing assets that will provide diversified and long-term revenue streams for the club,” Mr Bell said. “Our goal with our precinct development is to provide facilities that service the needs of people who live and work in the area, so we are thrilled that this centre is now open.

“We are looking forward to a long association with centre operators Paul and Ann Nugent.”
