Infield works in motion as vehicle tunnel excavation is completed

Work is progressing well on the Eagle Farm tunnels and infield.

The below photo is the pedestrian tunnel across the home straight and is well advanced enabling tunnel culverts to be installed. Running from Nudgee Road to the centre of the track will unlock the infield, enabling vehicles to easily access parking and the planned on course stables. Contractors are now progressing with the concrete form work of the vehicle tunnel. The new storm water drainage system is now complete with training tracks reinstated in preparation for the resumption of training at Eagle farm. Preparation of the infield in readiness for future on course stable development has also begun with the desilting of the water course that runs through Eagle Farm Racecourse now in progress.
