The Brisbane Racing Club is proud to have a diverse group of people who are part of our big team.

Included among them are a good number of ex-jockeys, who have found themselves at the BRC after completing their riding careers.

In this piece, we chat to ex jockeys Dennis Whitmore, Lyle Finlay and Brad Richardson about their roles at the BRC, which include raceday Clerk of the Course duties.

The trio discuss their former careers, how they’ve adapted into their BRC roles and also what they don’t miss about the jockey life now they don’t have to be on the scales every day!
