Friday, 26 October 2018

Brisbane Racing Club’s recently acquired Souths Sports Club at Acacia Ridge was officially re-opened on 19th October following extensive renovations worth over $2 million.

BRC Chairman Neville Bell welcomed Government Ministers, local members of the council, BRC Board Members as well as 95 guests to the opening event.

The newlook club forms part of the BRC’s commercial evolution which includes non-racing revenues such as Racecourse Village and Lendlease’s Bernborough Ascot retirement village.

The Club will support the 22 Juniors teams, a Senior Men's team, a Senior Ladies team and Acacia Ridge Bowls plus many local sporting groups, schools and charities as part of the BRC’s community support and engagement strategy.

BRC Members are encouraged to visit Souths Sports Club now that it is completed and we are confident you will be impressed with the redevelopment.
