The priority of the Brisbane Racing Club is the safety of our community and teams.

In line with the Queensland Government's COVID-19 Guidelines, we have made a few changes to our operations which means your raceday experience may be different to the last time you visited.

COVID-19 Tracing Requirements

To assist us with COVID-19 Tracing requirements, all guests will be required to scan a QR code which will take you to an online form. This data will only be used for COVID-19 tracing purposes.

Venue Capacities

Doomben and Eagle Farm Racecourses are accommodating patrons based on the Queensland Government’s 1 person per 4 square metres and 1 person per 2 square meter rules.

Each room will have a limited capacity and popular areas may fill quickly. If your preferred area is full there will be alternative bars and eateries for you to enjoy. 

We encourage all patrons to pre-book to avoid missing out on tickets on the day. Once the rooms and function spaces reach capacity, we will redirect patrons to alternative areas of the racecourse. 

Social Distancing and Bio-Security Measures

Attendees will need to adhere to social distancing and bio-security measures as directed. Wherever possible stay 1.5 metres apart and practise good hand hygiene. Hand sanitisation stations will be available.

Please do not attend the racecourse if you are unwell, have COVID-19 symptoms or have been to a declared COVID-19 hotspot in the previous 14 days.

As part of the conditions of entry, BRC has the right to refuse entry or service and insist that anyone with COVID-19 symptoms leaves the racecourse immediately.

Food & Beverage Purchases

EFTPOS payments are encouraged for food & beverage purchases. 

External food must not be brought onto the course, unless for specific dietary needs. Please advise us prior to the day at sales@brc.com.au.

Guests must remain seated throughout the day except for wagering, food and beverage purchases or restroom requirements. 

Pre-purchased Functions

All functions will open at 11.30am and finished at 5.00pm. Patrons will required to leave the Racecourse at the end of the function. 

Owners

Owners will not be permitted in the Mounting Yard or Winners Circle on racedays.
