Marking two defining moments in Queensland racing 50 years apart. The golden anniversary of jockey Graham Cook winning the Stradbroke Handicap and Doomben 10,000 on Spedito and the Doomben Cup on Golden Khan. And this season we celebrated the breakthrough win by a Queensland horse in the Melbourne Cup. Special guests Graham Cook and Knight’s Choice’s trainers Sheila Laxon and John Symonds, and jockey Robbie Dolan.

Hosted by the Thoroughbred Racing History Association in the beautiful heritage-listed Tote Building at Eagle Farm Racecourse. Cash bar available.

  Entry is by donation to the Thoroughbred Racing History Association and no tickets are required.
