Theme: Embellishment

Please note:

- Millinery is to consist of seasonally appropriate Autumn/Winter fabrications (ie. wool, felt, fabric, leather) 

- Strictly no summer millinery consisting of straw or sinamay.

- Gloves and stockings are both optional if fitting for the execution of your overall outfit

- Strictly no bare mid-riffs, strapless or spaghetti strap tops/dresses 

- Hemlines to be considered for the appropriateness of the season and setting 

- Hats or headwear is optional for men 

The Stradbroke Season Fashions on the Field competition for 2022 will consist of a Fashion Photographic Shoot for all entrants, with finalists still experiencing the thrill and glamour of the Fashions on the Field stage! Upon registration, entrants will have two photos of their outfit taken by a professional photographer for their submission: one capturing the head to toe ensemble, and another pose of their choosing to showcase their outfit. 

Once final entries have closed, the organising committee for the competition is to finalise the entries for each category. All entrants need to return to the Fashions on the Field marquee approximately 15 minutes prior to the final judging to learn if they qualified for the top ten contestants. The top ten contestants for each category will be invited to the stage to participate in the final of the respective category. 

The top 10 finalists will step on stage to showcase their outfits, where the guest judges will individually judge each entrant on their style, originality and interpretation of the day’s theme. From the finalists, a Winner and Runner-up of each category will be announced.

12pm Women’s & Men's Racewear registrations close

12:45 pm Women’s & Men's Racewear Finalists will be notified to assemble at Fashions On the Field stage

1:00 pm Women's Racewear finals to commence 

1:20 pm Women's Racewear winner announced 

1:25 pm Men's Racewear finals to commence 

1:40 pm  Men's Racewear Winner announced
