Racecourse Village Shopping Centre

The original Masterplan as approved by Brisbane City Council, envisaged a shopping centre on this site but a much smaller one than what exists today. The Club undertook independent market research which demonstrated the need in the Ascot/Hendra area for a larger facility.
Both Woolworths and Coles had approached the Club in an effort to secure an anchor store in the Centre, so the Club ran a race of a different kind! The two most successful supermarkets in the country, with Woolworths eventually the winner.
With an anchor tenant secured, the Club then undertook the successful development of Racecourse Village Shopping Centre which opened 1 August 2018.

Racecourse Village features the first Woolworths 3.0 in Queensland and 17 other specialty stores including restaurants, medical centre, gym, and pharmacy.  The Centre was awarded the Excellence in Presentation for the 2019 QLD Retail Property Awards which was a very proud moment for the Club.

Another key feature of the Centre is the 350kW solar panel system which saves 300 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year or the equivalent of 2.25 million kilometres in a family car.

Any leasing enquiries, please contact the centre managers First Asset Management by submitting an enquiry through the Racecourse Village website.
