Help Support charities during The Star Stradbroke Season

16 May 2024

Brisbane Racing Club will be hosting a 50-50 Charity Raffle over the upcoming racedays of The Star Stradbroke Season to help raise much-needed funds for five different charity organisations.

The first raffle this Saturday (18 May) on Ladbrokes Doomben 10,000 Day at Doomben Racecourse will benefit the RBWH Foundation.

The 50-50 fundraising initiative gives racegoers the chance to win a cash prize, with everyone who buys a ticket going into the draw to win 50 percent of the prize pool of tickets sold. The other 50 percent goes to support the relevant charity. So the more tickets sold, the bigger the prize to be won and the more money raised for the relevant charity.

Raffle ticket sellers in distinctive bright green aprons will be at each raceday and from the Monday before the day, tickets can be purchased online at https://5050charityraffle.com.au/brisbaneracingclub

Since 2018, BRC has helped raise more than $700,000 for a range of charities through the 50-50 initiative.

If you would like to volunteer to sell tickets for any of the charities on the racedays, please email team@5050charityraffle.com.au.
