Fillies and food go firmly hand-in-hand if the 2018 culinary offering at Brisbane Racing Club’s Spring Racing Carnival is anything to go by!

Everything from tasty street food to cocktail style eateries and several five-star dining options, makes Doomben Racecourse the ultimate food destination this Spring.

The Village
Home to a series of pop up bars and food trucks, The Village will feature Reely Hooked, your go to fish and chippery serving up tasty treats like the Baja fish taco and tempura dipped prawn tails. Mr Potato Head will offer steam baked fat skin on potatoes with loaded toppings like the smokey 5 spice bbq pork and plum shoulder or ground beef bolognaise, basil pesto and long stretch mozzarella.

Champions Bar
The Champions Bar is open every day of the Spring Racing Carnival and serves up traditional wood fired pizzas and fresh hand rolled sushi, nori and nigiri. Sticky chicken wings, bbq pork buns and Californian fries are also sure to hit the spot. The Champions Bar also has a premium selection of your favourite beverages from delicious Pimm's jugs and espresso martinis, to house beers and wine.

Champions Courtyard Cocktail Party 
Is there anything better than a spring cocktail party? Sip on a delicious cocktail on arrival and enjoy the mouthwatering lunch menu throughout the day. Among the offerings are wagyu beef on a butter milk bun with maple bacon, double cheese, with home made ketchup. Or perhaps the flash fried ricotta filled zucchini flowers in a light pastel with bush honey mayo strikes your fancy.

Nova Lawn Party (Melbourne Cup Day) 
The party vibes are in full swing in the Nova Lawn Party! Ticket includes a spring cocktail style lunch featuring hand wrapped chilled salmon & avocado nori with Japanese condiments. Mr wong’s vegetable, hand rolled spring rolls with Vietnamese dipping sauce are sure to appease the appetite.
