Boot Scootin' to Broncos

10 July 2026

Ladbrokes StrBrisbane is set for one of its biggest Saturdays of sport and entertainment, with the Brisbane Racing Club launching Boot Scootin' to Broncos—the ultimate way to kick off game day before the Brisbane Broncos take on the New Zealand Warriors at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday 15 August.

As part of the campaign, Broncos fans can score 50% off General Admission to Bundaberg Rum Country Music Raceday simply by presenting a valid ticket to that evening's Broncos match.

With live thoroughbred racing, chart-topping country music, fantastic food and drinks, and an electric trackside atmosphere, Doomben Racecourse will become the perfect pre-game destination before supporters make their way to Suncorp Stadium for a blockbuster night of rugby league.

Bundaberg Rum Country Music Raceday returns in 2026 with a new date, bigger entertainment and an unforgettable country music atmosphere, transforming Doomben into Brisbane's home of boots, beers and blockbuster racing.

Three-time Golden Guitar winner Max Jackson headlines an exciting entertainment lineup, joined by everyone's favourite farmer and 46th Toyota Star Maker Jarrad Wrigley, chart-topping country artist Will Day, and crowd favourites the Dallas Line Dancers, delivering live music and high-energy performances throughout the day.

Brisbane Racing Club CEO Karl deKroo said Boot Scootin' to Broncos was about showcasing the best of a Queensland Saturday.

"Queenslanders don't need to choose between racing, country music and rugby league—they can enjoy all three," Mr deKroo said.

"Boot Scootin' to Broncos is about starting your Saturday with mates at Doomben, enjoying great racing, live country music and a few cold Bundy Rums before making your way to cheer on the Broncos under the lights."

"We've also made it even easier for Broncos members and supporters to be part of the day, with anyone holding a match ticket receiving 50% off General Admission to Country Music Raceday."

Headline act Max Jackson said she can't wait to make her Bundaberg Rum Country Music Raceday debut.

"I'm really looking forward to playing the big Bundaberg Rum Country Music Raceday at Doomben. I've heard all about it from my friends who've played it in the past and have heard it's one hell of a party!" Jackson said.

"I think it's just the Aussie way—I always love a day at the races."

"I know it will be a big coming together of family, friends and often a chance for lots to celebrate. I'm so stoked to be able to bring the country music, play it loud and keep the party rolling!"

No stranger to Bundaberg Rum Country Music Raceday, chart-topping artist Will Day is excited to return.

"I've performed at a few Bundaberg Rum Country Music Racedays in my career and each event is even better than the last," Day said.

"I'm really glad to be coming back to Doomben Racecourse to perform for one of the best crowds of country music fans in the country!"

Making his Bundaberg Rum Country Music Raceday debut, 46th Toyota Star Maker Jarrad Wrigley said he already knows what makes the event special.

"I've been to Bundaberg Rum Country Music Raceday as a racegoer and I was absolutely blown away by the energy and atmosphere. It's an incredible experience," Wrigley said.

"I'm even more excited now to be performing live and can't wait to get amongst such an amazing crowd."
