BRC sets its sights on Girls Day Out 2022 presented by PIMM'S

ONE of the biggest events on the Brisbane racing calendar is fast approaching, with the annual Girls Day Out, presented by Pimm's, coming to Eagle Farm on Saturday, March 12.

This year the event doubles as the return to racing at Eagle Farm for 2022 after the recent course proper renovation.

Stradbroke Season, presented by TAB, comprising six days of Group racing at Eagle Farm and Doomben, is known around the country for its stellar racing program and birthing ground for future stars.

On a local front though, few racing events are as eagerly anticipated as Girls Day Out, which has been a fixture at Eagle Farm and Doomben dating back to before the turn of the Century.

March 12 corresponds with outstanding Group 1 racing action in Sydney and Melbourne and will feature a full nine-event card at Eagle Farm.

The 2022 edition of Girls Day Out is highlighted by the Midori Retro Party and Ladies Long Lunch presented by Tanqueray.

There are hospitality packages to suit everyone on a day that will comprise great entertainment, live racing, pop-up bars and plenty of photo moments!

Tickets are on-sale now at brc.com.au.

Racing will then continue at Eagle Farm for a midweek meeting on March 23.

Before we get to Girls Day Out, racegoers have five Saturdays of racing to look forward to at Doomben.

After the past fortnight of major events on the Gold Coast, metropolitan racing returns to Brisbane tomorrow with a nine-race card at Doomben, which will feature on Seven’s Horse Racing free to air coverage and across all of the SKY Racing platforms.

A number of hospitality packages have sold out, but General Admission tickets are still available for just $15.

The Doomben fixtures over the next six weeks also include the Tattersall’s Racing Club meeting on February 26.
