From Coastal Cuisine to Trackside Action: Matt Sinclair Caters For Punters

Tuesday, 8 October 2019

Currently thriving on the back of an Australian Good Food Guide Chef’s Hat Award Announcement, Sum Yung Guys’ Matt Sinclair has been fittingly announced as the Food Ambassador for the highly anticipated 2019 Channel Seven Spring Racing Carnival, presented by Lexus.

The Masterchef (Season 8) Finalist, Celebrity Chef and Sunshine Coast Restauranteur is travelling the country day-in and day-out, meeting locals and showcasing how lucky Queenslanders are to enjoy some of the most abundant and fresh seasonal produce in Australia.

Making his way down to Brisbane for the spring racing season, Matt will be switching between his Chef whites and dapper racewear as he enjoys the racedays and curates a special menu for guests booked into the new Chandon Bubble & Blooms Deck Package.

No stranger to the track, Matt is a regular attendee to many Brisbane racedays, having a stake in Sunshine Coast-based runner, Jagged Edge with fellow Sum Yung Guys Chefs and Co-Owners.

Matt is a huge fan of racing in Brisbane and especially loves bringing the family along to Eagle Farm, which had the celebrity chef chomping at the bit to be appointed the role of Food Ambassador.

Joining Rachel Thaiday (Lifestyle Blogger and wife of Sam Thaiday), plus Hollywood reality TV star and Kardashian-clan family member, Brody Jenner at Padua College Derby Day, Sinclair will be mixing and mingling with guests throughout the course.

For those that have always wanted to try a specially-curated menu from the Sunshine Coast Restaurateur, book into the Chandon Bubbles & Blooms Deck and enjoy the bespoke menu that features two canapes, hand-crafted by Matt Sinclair, himself! The package also includes a full canape menu, beverage package and stunning styling.

The Channel Seven Spring Racing Carnival, presented by Lexus will come to life this year, like nowhere else in Brisbane as five racedays showcase local races and interstate action on the biggest screen in the Southern Hemisphere, all at Queensland’s home of racing – Eagle Farm Racecourse.

Tickets and hospitality packages are selling fast for the Channel Seven Spring Racing Carnival, presented by Lexus, which kicks off on Saturday, 12 October and culminates with the race that stops a nation on Tuesday, 5 November.
