Members enjoy exclusive wine tasting event

 
In the absence of mid-week racing, Brisbane Racing Club Members gathered at Eagle Farm last Wednesday for an exclusive Members Wine Tasting event.

In the luxurious setting of the Guineas Room, our valued Members were treated to tastings of seven wines, courtesy of Accolade Chief Premium Winemaker, Craig Stansborough.

The wines which will now become available course-wide, were accompanied by a premium farmhouse cheeseboard, adding to the culinary experience.

The BRC’s General Manager of Marketing, Membership and Strategic Partnerships, Elsa Dalessio was amongst the attendees, and lauded the success of the event.

“We had about 96 Members in attendance and right from the get go people were really excited to get through the gates to come to a night time event,” she said.

“The wine was great, service was fabulous and what was really good was people were able to sit with Members they probably hadn’t seen for a while.”

Elsa made note that the Brisbane Racing Club wanted to create an event that was inclusive for all, with an emphasis on affordability.

“This one was stunning, while being affordable,” she said.

“There was a lot of positive energy, lots of great feedback.”
