Moreton Hire Christmas Carols and Markets - Eagle Farm Racecourse

Eagle Farm Racecourse will become a Christmas wonderland on Saturday, 20 December 2025, when the Brisbane Racing Club hosts its annual Moreton Hire Christmas Carols and Markets.
This free community event is highly anticipated by the local community and has become a beloved tradition for families to enjoy and celebrate the festive season together.
From 5pm to 8pm, the BRC will create a magical evening with a wide range of age-appropriate activities and experiences to keep everyone entertained.
"We are a lot more than a race club with community being one of our core business values,” said BRC CEO Karl deKroo. "Our carols evening is one of our favourite community events of the year as it brings various groups to our venue in celebration, which is very much what the spirit of Christmas is about."
Live carol performances from Opera Queensland and the Queensland Show Choir on the St Leger Lawn stage will fill the air with festive cheer; bring a picnic blanket and find a spot to sing along to all your favourites.
A special visit from Santa is sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face – a perfect chance for families to have a photo taken without the hassle of long shopping centre queues.
There will be plenty of fun with jumping castles, face painting, and rock climbing – ideal for those with energy to burn.
Guests can also purchase last-minute Christmas gifts at the market stalls offering unique gifts and artisanal products not found in stores.
All this festive spirit can work up an appetite – enjoy a delicious family dinner from a variety of food trucks serving different cuisines to suit every taste.
