The new-look summer racing season was unveiled at the Brisbane’s Summer of Racing presented by TAB Launch Party last night!
Brisbane’s Summer of Racing presented by TAB is set to launch in just over a week. Enjoy seven days of equine racing thrills and a sensory experience of flavours and entertainment at Eagle Farm & Doomben Racecourses. Boasting some of the best summer racing in the country, combined with all the excitement and experiences you would expect to celebrate the holiday season.
Guests at the exclusive Launch Party, held at The Calile Hotel, celebrated the high-quality racing, delicious food and drinks, excitement and entertainment that is set to come at this year’s summer racing season!
BRC ambassadors old and new and Brisbane celebrities joined to celebrate the launch of the upcoming season. Sam and Rachel Thaiday, Sammie O’Brien, Justine Schofield and more were in attendance to toast to the excitement yet to come this summer.
The evening not only showcased the highlights of the upcoming racing season, but featured a panel discussion with Sky Racing’s Bernadette Cooper, Queensland Trainer of the Year Tony Gollan, Creek to Coast’s Scott Hillier, BRC Racing Manager Bart Sinclair and BRC Chief Executive Tony Partridge. The group gave insider knowledge on what to expect on and off the track over the summer racing season.

We are excited to give our customers an opportunity to kick up their heels and have some fun with a rejuvenated summer program of racing and socialising, after a year like no other,” says Brisbane Racing Club Chief Executive Tony Partridge. “The racetrack is a venue where the people of Brisbane can enjoy a few drinks in the Queensland summer sunshine, and be sure they are in a COVID safe environment.”
