Westfield chermside Announced as BRC Official Fashion Partner of Winter Carnival

Brisbane Racing Club has announced Westfield Chermside as the exclusive fashion partner to the Channel 7 Brisbane Racing Carnival presented by TAB.
The partnership will include naming rights to the coveted Fashion on the Field competition.
Held at Doomben and Eagle Farm Racecourses, the Westfield Chermside Fashions on the Field competitions will be held on each of the five days of the Carnival, which runs from 11 May to 8 June.
An unprecedented prize pool totalling over $40,000 will feature $10,000 in Westfield Chermside gift cards, accommodation and beauty products drawing contestants from far and wide.
New themes and categories will be brought to the stage, including an Embellishment theme and the Best Catwalk Presence, which will see the frivolous side of the competition come to life.
BRC’s General Manager - Sales and Marketing, Katie Churchill said this is an exciting partnership for both brands.
“Our Fashions on the Field competition is fast becoming one of the biggest fashion events in QLD so we are delighted to be working with one of the biggest names in Brisbane fashion to bring a wonderful experience to racegoers.”
Westfield Chermside is also enlisting the expertise of one of Brisbane’s best stylists (soon to be announced) who will dress the glamorous celebrities and ambassadors attending.
Natasha Gribble, Senior Brand Experience Manager Westfield Chermside believes this partnership will showcase the centre’s impressive stable of fashion retailers including David Jones, Myer, Zara, Alice McCall, Furla and Sheike to name a few.

It’s a timely partnership and exciting era for both of the iconic Brisbane locations, with each having undergone multi-million dollar redevelopments in recent years.
