XXXX Doomben Cup Day
Feel Closer to Champions today as the $1 million Group 1 XXXX Doomben Cup
heads a stellar day of black type racing at Doomben Racecourse.
The
Snowden-trained import Huetor made history in last year’s Cup, staging a
comeback after injury to score his second successive victory in the 2000-metre weight-for-age
contest. The gelding is only the fourth horse to score multiple wins since
the Cup was first run in 1933.
Also on the supporting program today are three Group races: the Group 2 ANZ Bloodstock News The Roses, Group 3 Magic Millions Mile and Group 3 Ladbrokes BRC Sprint.
