Why not consider a skirt and build an outfit around it. You can style a skirt up or down instantly and play with it by adding an oversize long or short-sleeved top, bearing in mind Autumn/Winter fashion trends and the day’s theme. 
 
Prints or block colours play a big role in selecting a garment.  Fashion inspiration can be drawn from the influential 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.  What’s on trend is the oversized shoulder pads from the ’80s, in raceday-appropriate boyfriend jackets, blocked colourful tops and dresses.
