The new Opal HealthCare aged care facility at Eagle Farm Racecourse will deliver a contemporary 198 bed residential care community, adding to the already established ‘Bernborough Ascot Retirement Living’.
Retirement Village at Doomben Racecourse.
Due for completion in 2027, the development will provide high quality aged care accommodation and support services within a well-connected inner Brisbane location, integrated alongside the lifestyle, hospitality and open space offerings of the wider Eagle Farm precinct.
Designed to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents, families and visitors, the facility will feature contemporary living spaces, landscaped outdoor areas and a strong focus on wellbeing, care and community connection.
The project represents an important diversification of the precinct, supporting intergenerational use and expanding Eagle Farm’s role as a vibrant mixed-use destination beyond racing and events.
As part of the continued evolution of Brisbane Racing Club, the Opal HealthCare development contributes to the delivery of a more connected, activated and community focused precinct for Brisbane’s future.
