Feel Closer to the Action as Group 1 racing returns to Eagle Farm for Ladbrokes Derby Day.
Be trackside for an exciting line-up that boasts three million-dollar races: Queensland’s premier staying test for three-year-olds, the Group 1 Ladbrokes Queensland Derby; the middle leg of the season’s sprint triple crown, the Group 1 EVA Air Kingsford Smith Cup; and the Group 2 Aquis Stallions Sires Produce for two-year-olds.
Also always highly anticipated is the Group 3 Mullins Lawyers Fred Best Classic, with the winner earning a start in the coveted The Star Stradbroke Handicap. Last year’s Classic winner Hawaii Five Oh went on to finish third in The Star Stradbroke, bested for the top honour by 2023 EVA Air Kingsford Smith Cup winner Think About It.
