We’ve had some positive news on the Eagle Farm track as we prepare for a return to racing. Racing Queensland’s track consultant Mick Goodie says Eagle Farm will be ready for racing on Saturday 22nd December.

Brisbane Racing Club was saddened to hear of the passing of Basil Nolan Jnr last night. A well-known identity in racing and thoroughbred breeding circles, Basil ran the well-known Raheen Stud alongside his father Basil Nolan Snr, mother Diane and wife Natalie. Brisbane Racing Club send their condolences to Basil's family and friends.

Brisbane Racing Club’s recently acquired Souths Sports Club at Acacia Ridge was officially re-opened on 19th October following extensive renovations worth over $1.7 million.
As the state’s major thoroughbred race clubs, we support the Industry Alliance Group that called for tomorrow’s strike action. The industry is united. This is a critical time for the racing industry in Queensland.
